cari- Thanks. Coprolites were actually first identified with hyena remains. I learned that by reading this book. Although I did know about fossil feces from the numerous other books I've read about dinosaurs.

Kelly Fineman- Thanks for the compliment. I do think this book is well worth looking into.

Holly this is hilarious. I had no idea dinosaurs left poop behind. I'm thinking I know what to get your youngest for Christmas.

As far as books that surprised me, the only one I can think of is Rapunzel's Revenge I didn't think it was for my daughter's age group, but she loved it.
